This bundle contains all five volumes of the irem Collection in a unique slipcase. Compared to buying each volume separately, the bundle comes at a comparatively better price. Featured in an exclusive slipcase, it's the perfect option for the games to be displayed and celebrate the legacy of irem. This is the best opportunity to get your hands on all of the volumes.

Please note that this bundle will ship once the last game of the five is ready for shipping. The games are currently being developed and the entire collection is expected to be ready for shipping in 2024. GAMES INCLUDED IN THE IREM COLLECTION

Volume 1: 

Image Fight, released in 1988, was the first game in the series and set the standard for the rest of the franchise. The game was known for its challenging gameplay and impressive graphics, which were considered cutting-edge for their time. Players take on the role of a pilot fighting against a group of alien invaders and have to navigate through a series of increasingly difficult levels. 

Image Fight 2, released in 1992, expanded on the gameplay of the original game and added new features. The game also boasted improved graphics and sound effects, making it an even more immersive and engaging experience. With the animations before and during the stages, this game creates a thrilling experience of playing the hero of an anime series. 

X Multiply, released in 1989, was a spin-off of the Image Fight series and took the gameplay in a slightly different direction. The game is set in a biological world, and players must navigate through a parasite-infected human body filled with organic enemies and obstacles. X Multiply was known for its unique setting, challenging gameplay, and powerful graphics, which were among the best on the arcade platform at the time. 

Volume 2:

GunForce is sometimes considered to be one of the first run 'n' gun games, it can be seen as the initial baby steps that paved the way for the later-released Metal Slug series and its sequel, GunForce II (GeoStorm), both of which were highly acclaimed. GunForce is where it all began, after all! 

GunForce II known as GeoStorm in Japan, is the sequel to the SNES and Arcade game GunForce. It improves upon GunForce in every way and is one of the last arcade games from Irem. GunForce II was never released outside of arcades, making its inclusion in the Irem Collection Vol. 2 its first-ever worldwide console release. 

Air Duel is a 2D vertically scrolling shoot 'em up that was exclusively available in Japanese arcades and never made it to the West. Its inclusion in the Irem Collection Volume 2 marks its first-ever worldwide console release. Developed by the same legendary team at Irem that brought you GunForce and later the Metal Slug series, Air Duel offers 7 challenging stages that need to be mastered either alone or with a friend in co-op.

PRE-ORDER & AGE RATINGS

Please note: This is a pre-order. Since this Collection bundle will include five volumes we expect to ship it with the release of volume 5, autumn 2024. You will receive order updates as soon as we receive the games and start shipping.

The games have yet to be rated by the German Entertainment Software Self-Regulation Body (USK). There are no age ratings printed or stickered on the boxes or slip case.

German customers must be at least 18 years old to order and receive the shipment. This does not apply to international customers.
