Game of the Month: Warhammer 40,000: Shootas, Blood & Teef

At Strictly Limited, we take pride in curating a diverse collection of both classic and modern titles that are cherished by collectors worldwide. However, we understand that some exceptional games often fly under the radar or are tricky to access for some collectors. That's precisely why we've introduced our Game of the Month feature, aiming to shed light on these lesser-known treasures that truly deserve your time and attention. All featured games have been introduced, produced, and shipped some time ago. As of today, there are still units in stock from their initial release, spanning six months or more. As an added treat, each Game of the Month enjoys a special reduced price! Our spotlighted titles are introduced by our passionate team members who share a unique connection with the games.

This month's highlighted game is a true Partner Store gem, Warhammer 40,000: Shootas, Blood & Teef, published by ININ!

From today until May 10, Limited Editions will be available for just 20€ and Collector’s Editions for only 40€!

Warhammer 40,000: Shootas, Blood & Teef uniquely mixes humor and hardcore action, combining the fame of the legendary tabletop game IP with the legacy of the Run & Gun video game genre. Give the game a shot and check out the insights from our General Challenger, Sascha who is a big fan:

Q: What hooked you more: the tabletop IP or the Run & Gun genre?

Sascha: Why not both? I have some experience with the tabletop games, and even used to play Orcs in Warhammer (mainly Fantasy though). I always liked their rude sense of humor and in-your-face charm together with their massive attacks spiced by a bit of chaos. I also played Guns, Gore & Cannoli as well, developed by Rogueside a few years ago. The hardcore action, humor, and multiplayer fun were extraordinary. I figured, combining both worlds must lead to an awesome game.

Q: What differentiates Warhammer 40,000: Shootas, Blood & Teef from other Run & Gun games?

Sascha: You’re playing an Orc whose hair squig was stolen by a mean Warboss called "Gutrekka." This leads to your mission, which is to get your squig back. I love that approach and think it says it all. The story is hilarious, the action level is massive, and you can customize your character with different classes. I’ve rarely seen Run & Guns crafted that literally. As you can guess, the special humor lends itself perfectly to Warhammer’s Orcs. And four friends playing it together on the couch simply leads to a fun gaming session worth remembering.

Q: Apart from the fun, you mentioned "hardcore action," and the title "Shootas, Blood & Teef" also implies it. Any example of how this appears in the game?

Sascha: The Original Soundtrack is as "in-your-face" as the rest of the game. You don’t need to be into Heavy Metal to find Deon van Heerden’s compositions a perfect pick to guide you through the game. It directly sets you in the mood for action. If you like fast-paced gameplay, co-op fun with friends and a unique approach, give Warhammer 40,000: Shootas, Blood & Teef a shot!
